Welcome to the Website for the 64. Biometrisches Kolloquium 2018!

The 64. Biometrische Kolloquium is the annual meeting of the German Region of the International Biometric Society (IBS-DR). Official languages of the meeting are German and English.

The topic of the meeting is "Biometrie: gelebte Vielfalt" which translates to "Biometry: Living Diversity". This topic is reflected in the broad spectrum of special sessions in the scientific programme as well as in the keynote talks and the invited lectures of renowned scientists from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the USA.

Special sessions comprise not only classical biometrical topics as, e.g., "Bayesian Approaches", "Nonparametrical Methods" and "Survival Analysis" as well as specific current topics as "Adaptive Designs", "Meta Analysis"  and "Maschine Learning" but also emerging topics as "Estimands and Missing Values in Clinical Trials", "Health Technology Assessment" and „Rare Diseases". Besides these, also educational topics and biometric applications will be discussed.

We are looking forward to meet you at the 64. Biometrisches Kolloquium 2018 in Frankfurt/Main! The deadline was extended, submissions are now possible until 10.12.2017.
